2 Ağustos’ta Billboard, BTS‘in hit şarkısı “Butter“ın 9 hafta boyunca Billboard Hot 100 listesinde (ABD’deki en popüler şarkıların haftalık sıralaması) 1 numarada yer aldığını resmen duyurdu. Grubun son hiti “Permission to Dance” ise Hot 100‘de bu hafta 9 numarada yer aldı.

Bu başarı haberi ile birlikte “Butter“, Olivia Rodrigo’nun 8 hafta Hot 100 listesinde 1. olan “Drivers License” şarkısını geride bırakarak 2021 yılında Billboard Hot 100 listesinde en uzun süre 1 numarada yer alan şarkı oldu.
